The Common Sense Version

Welcome to our privacy policy. It's not pretty, but sadly, in our world infested with political correctness, obsessions with suing people for standing slightly downwind of them, and aubergines (that's egg plant to our American cousins - a horrible vegetable who's texture has been traumatising us for decades), it is required. But in summary:
  • We're only going to ask you for information when we need it to use it.
  • That includes credit card and payment details when you're paying us. We won't keep hold of your payment information, and it is used just by our payment providers. They've got much more secure vaults than us (probably with big guns and ugly people at the door). The info is used to process payments, and nothing else.
  • What little information we have we won't give to anyone else. We know we're nice, but we can't guarantee that about anyone else, so we won't give them your information. Actually my mother's very nice, but we won't give her your information either.
  • We do one sneaky thing. We put a cookie on your laptop (sadly, a small electronic file, though if we could see how to get a small choc chip onto your machine, we'd do that too). That allows us to do things like keep the things you put in your shopping cart there while you shop. It also allows us to make our website better. Finally (and this is where it gets really big brother), it also means we can sometimes show you ads for our site when you're visiting someone else who has adverts on their site. We can't use this cookie to identify you in any way. And you can get rid of ours (and anyone else's cookies) anytime you want by following these instructions.
You can contact us at our support team ( or by going to our contact page, or by writing to us at 145-157 St. John Street, London EC1V 4PW, UK.

That was the nice version! The version written by lawyers follows. If there's anything that seems odd in our nice one above, the one below is the version that takes precedence! Enjoy...
